An Inspiring Book – Joseph: A Man of Integrity and Forgiveness
Joseph is becoming one of my favorite people in all the Bible. His story takes up more space in Genesis than any other person or event.
Joseph had a passive, deceiving father. His brothers were angry and jealous. Yet Joseph extended a gift to them they did not deserve. Instead of getting even, he blessed them, protected them, and forgave them.
I want to be like Joseph!
This book is part of Charles Swindoll’s “Great Lives” series. If you need a little inspiration for living this life well, I encourage to read slowly through the life of Joseph.
A Gadget I Can’t Wait to Try – Theragun Prime
I spend a lot of time typing on my computer or driving my car. Like a lot of folks, my shoulder tend to roll forward affecting my posture and leaving my shoulders in a constant state of tightness.
My friend, Jim, recently texted me a link to the Theragun Prime. It is a deep tissue massage gun. Many people have had great success using it to loosen their muscles, regain range of motion, and feel better.
I used some of my birthday gift cards to order one and I can’t wait to try it! There are cheaper alternatives out there — but this one seems to be gold standard.
Do you have one?
A Salsa that is Delicious – Chuy’s Chipotle Ranch
Chuy’s is my favorite (chain) Tex-Mex restaurant for more than one reason. They make their tortillas fresh. Their fajitas are amazing. And best of all … they have (free) chipotle ranch sauce that is delicious for dipping your chips in!
A Quote from I’m Thinking About
Purpose whispers to us when we are comfortable. It shouts to us in our pain.
