A Great Audio Devotional – The Weekday Podcast by Sugar Hill Church
Our daily habits shape the person we become. That’s one reason we created the Weekday Podcast. It’s a brief 5-minute podcast each weekday to provide encouragement, scripture, and direction for the day. A friend at church recently told me that listening to these has been a game-changer. I’d love for you to give the podcast a listen.
An iPad Note-taking App – GoodNotes
Over the years, I have gone more and more paperless. Any document or book that I need, I typically have it electronically loaded on my iPad. While I still love the feel of a physical book, I’ve found my electronic workflow is a better fit for me. At the core of my system is the iOS app called GoodNotes.
GoodNotes transforms my iPad into digital paper. It has become the single place for all my handwritten notes and formerly paper-based information. The companion Mac app is currently being re-developed and should be available this fall.
A Book I’m Reading – Clarity First by Karen Martin
Personal clarity has dramatically increased my confidence. Clarity is equally crucial for organizations.
The premise of the book is this: “Clarity enables higher productivity, better decision making, more effective and timely problem-solving, more relevant action, and better relationships—all of which lead to higher levels of performance for both the individual and the organization.”
A Quote I’m Pondering:
Before a man can do things there must be things he will not do. — Mencius
