I’m a sucker for tips, tricks, and apps. I enjoy reading my good friend Chuck Allen’s Four for Friday posts. I always find something interesting or helpful, so I thought it would be fun to put out a list of some things I’m enjoying right now. Here is this week’s Monday Mentions.
Monday Mentions – 4.15.19
I found Dr. Berg’s Youtube videos when I was researching the ketogenic diet. I have done “keto” off and on for 4 1/2 years. I have plenty of energy and feel better when I stay consistent with it. Dr. Berg’s videos take complex health ideas and make them simple.
Easter is such an important season. I fear that I’ll get to the other side of Easter and have missed the significance of it. Here at Sugar Hill Church, we have designed an intentional week to help live beyond the “event” of Easter and move towards practicing the resurrection every day. Please consider joining us in person or online as we celebrate Jesus’s life, death, and victory!
My friend Chuck Allen has been talking about the power of putting four routines together: gratitude, scripture, journaling, and prayer. I agree with him. The cumulative effect of this daily routine is like rocket fuel for the soul. Check out Power Routines Volume 1 for a thirty-day journey that can change the course of your life!
My friends Carey Nieuwhof and Brad Lomenick have put together one of the best leadership conferences I’ve ever attended. ReThink Leadership 2019 is a premier event that brings Senior Leaders from across the globe together. At RL19, you’ll heart TED-style talks and interviews from world-class leaders and thinkers. You also get access and connection with many of the leaders who present. This year’s conference is May 1-3 here in Atlanta. I would love to see you there!
