I wanted to take a moment to wish you a Happy Memorial Day — a day set aside to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. I am grateful.
My dad served in the military for 37 years. My grandad served in WWII. Laura’s grandad served in the Korean War. And I served for seven years.
Through my time in the service, I became friends and comrades with some amazing men and women. They embodied the Air Force core values of excellence, integrity, and service before self. I learned so much from my time in the military.
Thank you to all who served and are serving. Thank you for your dedication and sacrifice. We remember, and we respect you.
Who do you remember today?
