I am the Teaching Pastor at Sugar Hill Church, a really great church in the metro Atlanta area. Sugar Hill Church is making a big difference in her community.
This is my personal Web site and blog. It is focused on connecting truth with real life. I am a firm believer in being a life-long learner. This means I don’t ever want to settle. I want to keep growing.
I often write about spiritual growth, productivity, leadership and occasionally something that is off-topic. I like gadgets and software, so occasionally I may post a review or tip that I’ve learned.
My goal is to provide content that will help you continue growing. If you are somebody that wants to keep improving and not settle, this blog is for you.
I post every week or so. To make sure you don’t miss any of my posts, I suggest that you subscribe via RSS or email.
My Biography
I have served churches and leadership organizations all of my adult life. While in college, I served as the Associate Pastor of my home church. During college and seminary, I began traveling and speaking at conferences and camps. I attended MId America Baptist Theological Seminary. After seminary, I joined the Global Youth Ministry team, speaking at camps and conferences around the world and teaching at the Global Institute for Youth Leadership. I was also a reservist with the Alabama Air National Guard for 7 years, while in college and seminary.
Though I love traveling and speaking, I am passionate about the local church. I served as the interim pastor of 3 churches and eventually joined the staff at Sugar Hill Church. I began by serving in the student ministry, but now serve as the Teaching Pastor where I preach regularly and give oversight to out adult ministries.
I have spoken at hundreds of camps, conferences and retreats. Occasionally I preach full-church revivals. I have also edited or contributed to over fifteen books. The latest book series I’ve worked on is called The First Book Challenge.
I have been married to my wife, Laura, for just over a year. Together, we lead our church’s young adult ministry. We live outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
In my free time, I enjoy riding motorcycles, reading, exercising and writing.

What Others are Saying
Bobby McGraw is a fresh voice proclaiming vintage truth. I am impressed not only with his humor and connectivity but his ability to captivate your spiritual heart through his preaching giftedness. Bobby is a friend and I have had the privilege to serve along side him in a National Tour. I have seen him on the stage and off if it. What did I find? What you see is what you get. Authenticity.

He is sincere about wanting people to grow deeper in their day to day walk with Christ. Most of all, he is sincere about his relationship with God.
